Hmm, Ive been off the pill for about 2 months now, and i can seriously say that BCP's do make ur pimples go away and prevents them from appearing... and also makes ur complexion nicer too! Maybe it works for some people and maybe it doesnt for others. You'll never know till u try and find the right pill that works best for you :)

I like Yasmin more, cuz it hasnt made me feel sick, gag or any bad side effects. Even though i only just started taking the pill again..  i can see the difference in my skin already:) Its more expensive than Marvelon, If i remember correctly, i got it for RM48. And Marvelon was like RM10-RM15 i cant remember. So yeah, with both brands/pills, they did lighten my period alot! so light, that on the 3rd day, i could use panty liners <33

Point is, Id rather Yasmin, as i can see the results already, and i feel comfortable... not sick, un comfortable and no weight gain! :)

I didnt put on any weight when i was taking Marvelon... but the only reason why i decided not to take it anymore is bcuz it made me feel sick and gag everytime i took it.

And heres a tip if u gag or feel uncomfy taking the pill with water... take it with milk :) thats what i do and the pill goes straight down happily and it does feel alot better than water :)

We all know that taking BCP's has it's side effects. For some they get lucky, and some they arent so lucky...

-abdominal cramping or bloating NO
-acne (usually less common after three months of treatment, and may improve if acne already exists) Yes, meaning it cures my spots! yay!!
-back pain NO
-breast pain, tenderness, or swelling Somewhat kinda, just abit bigger, but no pain at all
-diarrhea NO
-dizziness NO
-nausea and vomiting NO
-nervousness NO

And i would like to add that Marvelon, made me lose apetite for a few weeks. This could be good for some people if ur trying to lose weight... For some reason, Marvelon made me gag alot everytime i took the pill, and sometimes it felt like it was stuck in my throat lol! i dont know, maybe i didnt swollow properly?
